Outdoor rescue and wilderness first aid and first responder skill are based on the normal (urban first aid) syllabus but will train the Wilderness First Responder (WFR to stabilise and take care of the patient for an extended period of time. All wilderness rescuers are experienced outdoor instructors specialised in a particular terrain type (glacier, desert approach, Primary forest, Mountain, Canyon etc…).

Our team is made up of dedicated men and women selected and trained to our operating standards.

The nature of our operations, especially in the vertical world, is such that there is little room for mistakes. We are constantly training and retraining to keep up to date with the latest rescue techniques and equipment.

We are regularly called upon to provide technical backup and training to government services.

We offer professional Access and Rescue services for outdoor sports events, Vertical consultancy for stunts and camera crews.

Voluntary Service to the Community

As part of our commitment toward community development we are regularly called upon for Technical Outdoor Rescue Missions. Though these operations are costly, they remain free and are paid for by our regular activities.

Professional Access and Rescue services for events.

Safety comes first. We offer our services for standby and first response for any outdoor event in Mauritius (Sea, Mountain, Land). Being above all outdoor instructors, we can run your risk assessment and advise you on the safety management aspect of your event. Better still, we can manage the safety aspect of your event while you focus on the running of the show. Our services include a 4 men team minimum, Land Rovers, Radio communication system, and full para-medic kit. Our doctor can be present for large or at risk events.
