500 Ft Falls

The 500fts falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the island, unknown to many. Starting from Plaine Champagne uplands, a small and accessible trail will lead you down to the edge of this height impressive waterfall.

The hike down is only 50 minutes long and easy though there are some muddy and steep places and tracks gets narrow while we make our way through the Chinese guava bushes.

From the 500fts falls we have a splendid view on the southern part of the island with in the foreground the Bel Ombre forest and authentic south.

We hike back up through the same track and make it back to the cars in one and a half hours.
